At the Zula Den, we believe that wellness should be accessible to everyone and that our community is strongest when we support one another. As your local community wellness & arts hub, we are dedicated to fostering a space for connection, growth, and mutual aid. To make all this possible we rely on help from local volunteers in our community. This is why we created the volunteer program. It is designed for those who want to dive deeper into our sacred space, help us maintain the unique Zula energy and be a part of the magic we create here together.
We are currently looking for support with:
- Event check-in and guest list management.
- General organization and upkeep of our spaces including the Den, Boutique, Loft, Workshop room.
- Organizing supplies, props, and community spaces.
- Event setup / tear down, including arranging cushions, equipment, etc.
- Event greeters to welcome guests and help hold space.
- Marketing outreach / calls / emails.
In honor of this connection, we’ve created a simple energy exchange: for every 4-hour volunteer shift, you will receive 1 credit. Each credit is good for one complimentary pass to a class or workshop of your choice valued at $40 or less. You can even continue collecting credits, each worth up to $40, and combine them to attend a more expensive event free of charge. For example if you collect 2 credits for volunteering for a total of 8 hours, you could attend two events valued at $40 or less or one event valued at $80 or less and so on.
