Cacao

Guatemalan Origins

Our ceremonial cacao is sourced directly from Guatemala, where it has been grown, prepared, and honored in spiritual practice for generations. Each brick carries the essence of the land, the farmers, and the traditions it comes from; offering a heart opening experience that connects us back to the earth, to ritual, and to ourselves. Grown completely organic by small family farms. Once cultivated it is fermented in its own white fleshy fruit in small batches. After which it is dried in the sun. Then it is roasted and peels by hand. From there the seeds are ground up into a fine paste and poured into a mold, packaged.

Supporting the Mission

Cacao is an ally of the Zula Project non-profit organization. It helps as an aid to spreading its love through the community using both its medicinal properties as well as its spiritual essence. It also provides a sustainable business model to facilitate the functional energy exchange that generates the funds necessary to remain financially sustainable with less reliance on external funding from donors, grants, etc. Thus, creating a regenerative model where support received through the purchase of our cacao continues to support the NGO's mission as a whole.
This journal entry was written by our co-founder Eldad while resting in the shade of a cacao tree during his visit to one of the micro-farms on the Caribbean coast of Guatemala.

Bricks or Seeds

Available in two golden brick sizes and whole roasted / peeled seeds; our cacao is prepared with care, integrity, and reverence for the medicine it holds. Both the Bricks & the bags of seeds come in 1 lb or 1/4 lb sizes. Available for sale on our website and in our boutique.

Cacao Bar

This breathtaking cacao experience was born from a shared vision and individual brilliance. Eldad's artful table design and Chris's magnificent tent were brought to life with the masterful help of Eldad's father Aaron Alfi. Here is where you settle in, get comfortable, and savor the experience. It can set up to 8 people with the facilitator in the center. We use it at our free quarterly wellness the Soiree as well as take it out to festivals & events. It offers a beautiful setting to pause and sit with cacao. Reach out to us for a quote if you'd like to add this to your own event in the Los Angeles area.
